AT503 Lacquered Foil Tape
A 0.04mm (nominal thickness) aluminium foil which has a white lacquer coating on the outside. The other side is coated with an acrylic, pressure sensitive adhesive, having excellent shear strength particularly at high temperature. The tape is backed with a strong polythene coated release paper. Application; joining faced pipe, duct and wall insulation products. Sealing cold-store insulation, refrigerated containers where a white finish is preferred. Sealing double glazing units. Specification; Type test certificate available to show conformance to BS476 part 6 and Part 7 category 1. Certification to the following standards may be available on request. BS3887 : 1991.
