| 1416 Polythene Outdoor Protection Mask | |||
| 1416 consists of a black, cast polythene film coated with a white tinted rubber resin adhesive. It is resistant to penetration by building materials such as cement, plaster and paint and will withstand the effects of seasonal climatic variations. 1416 will perform satisfactorily for periods of up to two years both indoors and outdoors, however, when the substrate to which the tape has been supplied is transparent and allows the transmission of ultra violet light, the adhesive will break down very quickly. 1416 is not recommended for use on brass, copper or copper containing alloys. Application; 1416 has been specially developed for the protection of stainless steel and aluminium architectural units before, during and after installation. It also performs well in fabrication operations and can be used on painted surfaces including syntha pulvin types. | |||
