| 4406/4456 Acrylic Transfer Tapes | |||
| 4406/4456 consist of a film of acrylic adhesive coated on to a siliconised paper liner. The adhesive on 4406 is removable whilst that on 4456 is permanent. Both tapes have excellent resistance to UV light and long ageing characteristics. Application; 4406 is ideal for use in such applications as mounting signs, posters and notices and in display and merchandising where items have to be eventually removed without leaving adhesive deposits. 4456 is suitable for applications where a permanent bond is required. It is particularly useful in flying splice applications where its high grab characteristics ensure a successful splice. It is also suitable for web to core splicing with a wide range of substrates. These tapes are not repulpable and should therefore be removed from waste material being used to manufacture high quality papers. | |||
