| 4500 High Quality Aluminium Adhesive Tape | |||
| 4500 has a backing of pure aluminium with a synthetic resin adhesive protected by a polypropylene liner. This combination makes 4500 ideal for sealing and wrapping of pipework, ventilation and air conditioning. Important characteristics are; thick, rough backing resists chemical and mechanical stresses, withstands high temperatures (+180 degrees C, short term), permanent adhesion to rough surfaces, water vapour barrier, not combustible, liner can be written on. Applications; vapour barrier in pipework, repair tape for vehicles, containers etc, masking during powder coating and other paint operations, edge sealing in glass structures, joint sealing in refrigeration, insulation in the building industry, gas welding in pipework construction, decorative stripes. | |||
