| 4560 consists of an acetate silk backing with a thermosetting rubber adhesive. The tape withstands high mechanical stress and is resistant to impregnating agents and most solvents. This resistance can be raised by curing the taped off coils for 3 hours at 120 degrees C, 2 hours at 135 degrees C or 1 hour at 150 degrees C. 4560 is UL recognised. Applications; lead holding and securing of windings; insulation of lead-ins and soldered joints; shaft insulation in electrical motors; taping off coreless coils; outer wrap insulation; interwinding insulation. |
