| 52916 is especially designed for mounting thin photopolymer plates (0.76mm and 1.14mm) on foam-coated sleeves. It si a double sided tape with differential adhesion values on each side. The open side of the tape has to be applied directly to the foam coated sleeve. The high adhesion ensures a secure bond. The lower adhesion on the liner side guarantees that the plates can be repositioned and demounted more easily. Due to its minimal thickness, the polyester film backing provides the ideal carrier between both print plate and sleeve. The eliminates any interference, allowing the sleeve to compress and recover freely whilst printing. |
