| 4171 has a thick polyethylene backing which gives the tape a high water vapour tightness. 4171 is very flexible age and weather resistant. The aluminium coating reflects thermal radiation but the tape should not be exposed to UV rays for a longer period of time. The acrylic adhesive allows permanent adhesion to aluminium, glass, steel, galvanized sheets and plastics. Application; water vapour barrier in refrigeration and air-conditioning units, insulation in the building industry, joint sealing in refrigeration units, sealing of cladding panels in sandwich construction, covering joints in insulation panels. |
