4192 Plasticised PVC Insulating Tape Class Y (90 degree)
4192 is a strong, conformable PVC electrical insulating to BS3924 (31/90). It has good resistance to moisture, dilute acids and alkalies, many chemicals, abrasion and ageing. The backing is highly flexible, moulding easily to uneven surfaces. The last winding should be applied without tension. Applications; electrical installation and repair work, insulation of soldered joints and seams, terminals, cable sockets and conductor rails, cable harnesses, colour coding, tin sealing.
