| 4426 is an electrical insulating tape which takes advantage of the toughness and puncture resistance of 25 micron polyester film and the absorbency and low extensibility of paper. A thermosetting aggressive rubber resin adhesive provides high tack. The tape resists flagging during the pre-bake cycle and during the varnish impregnation and bake. Application; coil and transformer insulation, inter-phase insulation and outerwrap, applications in capacitors, harnessing, anchoring, slot edging and wrapping, lead wire hold down in motors. |
