| 4712 is chemically cured polyethylene sealing tape with a non ageing and extremely strong acrylic adhesive. The closed cell foam is also very resistant to ageing and weathering. 4712 was especially developed for glazing applications. A special production procedure facilitate high accuracy in thickness. The relatively hhard foam conforms to the specifications; DIN 18055, 18056, 18361 and VOB. 4712 tolerates all usual sealants and putties. They are resistant to chemicals and do not contain any corrosion promoting components. Furthermore they are well suited to seal against sound, warmth and cushioning of heavy parts. |
