| 4891, 4893 PV1 Self Adhesive Temperature Resistant PUR Ether Foam |
| 4891 and 4893 PV1 are universal sealing tapes with a very light flexible open cell polyurethane foam equipped with and acrylic adhesive offering strong adhesion properties and with an interlayer to avoid over stretching. They are temperature resistant and tearable by hand. The soft PUR ether foam has a remarkable resistance to humidity. These foams can be used to seal against draught and dust in windows, doors and ceilings. In the automotive industry they are used to bandage cables in order to avoid noise. There are further applications in sound and vibration damping as well as in cushioning of sensitive components. The strong adhesion, even on difficult surfaces, allows use in the building industry for example, to seal joints in formwork for concrete. |
